* For the record, this particular blog didn’t take 10 days to write.

I have a mantra that I use often, whether internally or with clients, just to hit home that hard work pays off more than anything else when it comes to making a success on Google – and in life itself. The mantra is “The harder something is to do, the more impact it has on Google.”
On that note, I took a few minutes to create a line graph based on this mantra. I have listed several tasks that are usually done in the promotion of a site and shown my own thoughts about how hard each task is and how much impact it has on rankings.

Whilst it is not a true correlation, the lines are pretty much in tune with each other.
For reference, Site Arch. is site architecture, Qual. Content is quality content and Ind. Links is industry links. Space was at a premium on this graph.
Well, what are you waiting for? Get to work on the hard stuff
