sofasWelcome to the 3rd example of my SEO comparison report software this week, with sofas being the industry monitored.

SCS, DFS and CSL (why so many abbreviations in this industry?) are the sites that have been benchmarked in this report which can be found here (opens in new tab) or lower down in embedded form.

This document is different than previous versions in that it includes a summary page which is auto-generated from the data supplied within the document.  It is pretty accurate too, I may add, which I am very pleased about.  Different content is written for various scenarios that occur.

One thing that does surprise me is the lack of brand mentions in this industry. Very strange. I have seen much smaller industries with much larger brand mentions for the companies in question. I am surprised I suppose, because a sofa is something that may be talked about online, especially on social media platforms, especially by women. Maybe I am wrong?

I am also surprised at the lack of majorly competitive links for all three. Perhaps the sofa industry is not as hard to break as it initially seems from the outside?

As readers of this blog will know, there again is great correlation between the highest number of unique IP links and social media shares, which helps to create the greatest keyword reach for DFS.  When will the wider world wake up to this?  Im sure many people ‘know’ this, but little seem to do anything about it.

So, for SCS and CSL, the answer seems to be plenty more great links, and better content to attract more social media shares. Simple eh? ;)

Here is the report for those that want to read it from this page:
